RAISE YOUR HAND is writer/director Jessica Rae’s 1990s coming of age drama feature about high schoolers with stories to tell. It will be released on all platforms June 2025.
LA FRONTERA by director Iliana Sosa is a feature-length episode from the HBO series based on Lawrence Wright's acclaimed book GOD SAVE TEXAS. A tender, historical depiction of life along the Texas-Mexico border, the episode exposes limited definitions of Americanism and asks viewers to embrace the concept of in-betweenness. The series premiered at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and is nominated for a 2025 Cinema Eyes Honor for Best Anthology Series. It is available on HBO MAX.
My fifth project with filmmaker Tracy Droz Tragos, DO NO HARM looks at the harrowing impact on maternal healthcare deserts (that continue to grow and decline), where our next class of incoming med students are denied basic training. This film for MTV’s In Bloom and the Staying Alive Foundation is executive produced by Karlee Kloss and Phoebe Gates, and captures young doctors in the United States being thrown into medical education turmoil and healthcare turmoil.
