BIO
My family’s nomadic lifestyles, refugee experiences, and journeys as war survivors spark my curiosity and imagination.
recent collaborations
The Sundance premiere, HBO series based on Lawrence Wright's acclaimed book, GOD SAVE TEXAS, episode La Frontera by director Iliana Sosa. A tender, historical depiction of life along the Texas-Mexico border, the episode exposes limited definitions of Americanism and asks viewers to embrace the concept of in-betweenness. The doc trilogy is nominated for a 2025 Cinema Eyes Honor for Best Anthology Series and is available on HBO MAX.
BODY LANGUAGE for FOX ENTERTAINMENT is a stalker horror thriller starring Christina Milian directed by Cory Miller and executive produced by the Hayes Brothers (creators of THE CONJURING franchise). Releasing 2025. Or 2026. Hollywood is a planet of uncertainty in outer space.
My work includes award winning shorts, narrative and documentary features, most of which have screened and earned awards at film festivals such as Sundance, Cannes American Pavillion, Tribeca, TIFF, SXSW, and also episodes of TV, plus commercials, with the occasional music video. Most of these are viewable on Netflix, HBO, HULU, Amazon Prime, PBS, AppleTV+, and more.
I appreciate nuanced storytelling. Magical moments when the crew family rallies together, commits, and chases that vision.
